The bottom maps shows the two largest Spanish colonies in the area Hispaniola and Cuba. The coast of Florida is shown in the north and in the far west is The Yucatan Peninsula protruding through the border. The top map shows other Spanish settlements along the coast of modern day Mexico and North America. While no compass roses are present both of the maps are of a northern orientation. The scale of the two maps is different as indicated by the scale on the side of each map. Die Karte basiert auf Speed´s Karte von 1626. Die Dekoration ist neu. Diese erste separate niederländische Karte der Bermudas ist die am meisten gedruckte und technisch brillianteste Karte der Bermudas im 17. Jahrhundert. Oben links befindet sich eine Kartusche mit Maßangaben. Oberhalb der Inselgruppe befindet sich die Titelkartusche. Diese wird begleitet von Neptun und weiteren Maritimen Darstellungen. Ebenfalls oberhalb der Inselgruppe ist eine Kompaßrose verzeichnet. Die Karte ist auf Latein beschriftet. Landeseigene Bezeichnungen sind in Landessprache gehalten. Am unteren Rand der Karte befindet sich eine Auflistung der Landbesitzer. Diese Wiederrum sind anhand der Zahlen auf den Inseln nachzulesen. Dadurch ist ein Übeblick über die Landwirtschaftliche Verteilung möglich.
