A large and hihgly decorative two-sheet map of South America with two large cartouches, published in the "Atlante Veneto". The "Atlante Veneto" of Coronelli carries the date 1690 on its title-page but it was published in 1691, the date of its dedication and colophon. The Atlante was professionally designed as a continuation of BlaeuŽs Atlas Major and by 1701 was extended to embrace up to twelve volumes.
